Firebird 3.0

Firebird 3.0 will bring better SMP support and many many new things. It is currently (June 2010) in the works and the feature set is not completely settled.

There will be a new ODS version 12.0, and the new Firebird 3 server will not work with older ODS versions, requiring a backup&restore cycle when migrating from older versions to Firebird 3.
